1. FC Koln Targets Jamal Iddrissou for Transfer
Newsroom

German club 1. FC Koln chased Italian-born striker of Ghanaian descent, Jamal Iddrissou, as a potential transfer target ahead of the 2026/27 season. The Bundesliga side sought to reinforce their forward line in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
Reports indicated that Koln had made an initial approach to Serie A champions Inter Milan regarding the highly-rated 18-year-old striker. Their opening proposal suggested a season-long loan with an option to make the transfer permanent for €8 million.
However, Inter Milan rejected the initial offer. While the Italian champions were open to allowing Iddrissou to leave, they stipulated specific conditions for his transfer. Inter insisted on including a fixed buy-back clause, which would enable them to re-sign the striker for €15 million in 2027 or €18 million in 2028.
Inter communicated their stance to Koln, who had yet to submit a revised offer. Negotiations remained in the early stages as both clubs continued discussions.
Iddrissou was also attracting attention from the English Premier League, with Brentford reportedly monitoring the talented teenager as they considering a potential move during the summer transfer window.
