In the 2026 Tour de France Femmes, Kim Le Court claimed victory in a thrilling sprint during stage six after overcoming a mechanical issue. The stage saw Le Court perform a remarkable comeback, taking the win while Marlen Reusser retained the yellow jersey.

Le Court remarked on her stage success, mentioning the intensity of the race and her struggles earlier on. After experiencing a mechanical issue on the second-last climb, where she had to switch bikes, Le Court managed to rejoin the lead group.

Despite the difficulties, including a tough effort to return to the front before the final climb, she explained her strategy to remain patient before launching her sprint.

"I had a mechanical on the downhill of the second-last climb. I had to change bikes, but my team was amazing. I got back in the group on the last climb, and that was a really big effort," she stated.

The excitement did not end there; as the finish approached, she took the lead in the last few kilometers and showcased her strength in the final sprint. Le Court's determination paid off, giving her the victory in an unforgettable display of cycling prowess.

Following her win, the general classification saw Reusser holding the top spot with 19 hours, 43 minutes, and 34 seconds, with a growing competition notably from Demi Vollering and Katarzyna Niewiadoma. Le Court's placement improved significantly, now sitting in ninth overall, just 3 minutes and 26 seconds behind the leader.
