Tso Remains Confident in Betway Premiership Prediction

Benedict Vilakazi, an analyst on iDiski TV, remained confident that Orlando Pirates would still claim the Betway Premiership title despite a disappointing performance over the weekend. The Buccaneers had a chance to secure the league championship in front of their fans at a sold-out Orlando Amstel Arena, but their match against a determined Durban City side ended in a frustrating 0-0 draw.

This setback positioned Pirates two points behind the league leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns, who are set to face relegation-threatened ORBIT College at Mbombela Stadium next weekend. Following the draw against the reigning Nedbank Cup champions, concerns grew among the Pirates supporters, with some visibly distraught after the final whistle.

However, Vilakazi stood firm in his belief that Pirates would triumph in their final league match of the season. "I’m disappointed in the sense that Pirates didn’t win the game," he remarked on iDiski TV. "I’m still standing by the assertion that Pirates will win the league. I said it at the beginning of the season. Even when Pirates encountered challenges, [Mamelodi] Sundowns regained the top spot until their match against TS Galaxy, which they lost, giving us an opening.

"I believe in a higher power. He gives you opportunities, but you must make the right moves. Look at the chances Pirates are receiving to clinch the league. This is our final opportunity. If we miss this chance, I wouldn’t know what to say. But, I still have faith that Pirates will win the league."
