Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk clinched it for Liverpool against Everton

Liverpool emerged victorious in the game on Sunday at Hill Dickinson Stadium against Everton. The Premier League game finished 2-1.

It leaves Everton in 10th place and Liverpool in fifth.

The match remained goalless until the 29th minute when Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead, with an assist by Cody Gakpo.

In the 54th minute, Beto equalised for Everton, with an assist by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The deciding goal came in extra time, when Virgil van Dijk netted for Liverpool, with an assist by Dominik Szoboszlai.

Everton play West Ham United on 25 April, Manchester City on 4 May and Crystal Palace (away) on 10 May. Liverpool's next opponents are Crystal Palace on 25 April, Manchester United on 3 May and Chelsea (home) on 9 May.
