West Ham United's Strong Second-Half Showing Overpowers Everton

The Premier League battle between West Ham United and Everton kicked off with a goalless first half at London Stadium on Saturday. However, Everton's dominant second-half display propelled them to a convincing 2-1 triumph.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Tomáš Souček made his mark as he netted, with an assist by Jarrod Bowen, to give West Ham United the lead.

The equaliser came in the final minutes, when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall found the net for Everton, with an assist by James Tarkowski.

The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Callum Wilson scored for West Ham United, with an assist by Jarrod Bowen.

With four games remaining, West Ham United are in 17th place in the table while Everton are in 11th.

West Ham United play Brentford on 2 May, Arsenal on 10 May and Newcastle United (away) on 17 May. Everton's next opponents are Manchester City on 4 May, Crystal Palace on 10 May and Sunderland (home) on 17 May.
