Newsroom

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that media accreditation for the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifying Match between Nigeria and Bénin Republic is now open. The match, which will feature the U17 Women National Team of Nigeria, known as the Flamingos, against the U17 Women National Team of Bénin Republic, is scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne-Remo on Saturday, 4th July 2026. This match serves as the first leg of a final round qualifying fixture for the U17 Women’s World Cup to be hosted in Morocco this year.

Kick-off is set for 16:00hrs. Due to the limited capacity of the Media Gallery at the venue, the NFF notified that no media organization would be allotted more than one slot for press and photo journalists. Requests for media accreditation should be sent via email between 18:00hrs on Monday, 29th June 2026, and 18:00hrs on Wednesday, 1st July 2026. Any requests submitted after the deadline of 18:00hrs on Wednesday, 1st July 2026, will not be entertained.

Accreditation cards are to be issued at the Remo Stars Sports Complex on Friday, 3rd July 2026. The NFF extended its warm regards and appreciation to the media for their continued support and cooperation.
