Leicester back row Ilione ruled out until 2027

Emeka Ilione, the Leicester Tigers back row, has been ruled out until "at least" the end of 2026. The 24-year-old has not played since January due to a shoulder injury. Lock Harry Palmer, 20, will not feature until November after undergoing a knee operation. Head coach Geoff Parling commented on the situation, stating, "Unfortunately, Emeka's shoulder injury is complex and hasn't recovered as we hoped. He will see the specialist again in November, but for now we know that he will be out until at least the New Year." Ilione managed to score three tries in 10 appearances for Leicester Tigers last season.
