Update on Makgopa and Mbatha from Pirates

Orlando Pirates provided a positive update on players Thalente Mbatha and Evidence Makgopa, both of whom have been sidelined by injuries. Mbatha began the season but missed the Pirates' 1-1 Betway Premiership match against AmaZulu at Kings Park Stadium in Durban last month. In contrast, Makgopa has yet to appear in any of the team's matches this season. At that time, the club's coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou, mentioned that both players were still nursing injuries from the previous campaign. The club has now shared an encouraging update regarding their recovery, as well as on captain Nkosinathi Sibisi and new signing Mohau Nkota. "Mohau Nkota has to wait a while longer for his own official homecoming as he continues to recover from an injury picked up late last season," the club announced on its official website. "Further reinforcements could come in the form of club captain Nkosinathi Sibisi, who could soon return to action after missing out on the Soweto Giants’ last three fixtures. Meanwhile, midfielder Thalente Mbatha continues to edge closer to returning to full training alongside striker Evidence Makgopa."
