Duba Responds to TS Galaxy Banter After Victory

Wandile Duba, a forward for Kaizer Chiefs, responded to TS Galaxy's banter after their 3-0 victory in the Carling Knockout Cup at FNB Stadium on October 27, 2026. Duba’s impressive performance, which included a hat-trick, propelled Amakhosi past the Rockets, putting an end to weeks of pre-match taunts from the opposing team.

In the aftermath of the match, Duba expressed that silencing TS Galaxy’s disrespectful remarks, which had been ongoing for two weeks on social media, served as a significant motivation for him and his team. He remarked, "These ones disrespected us a lot in the social media for the past two weeks. We knew today that we had to win this game. The donkeys made them run today and they were nowhere to be seen."

The victory allowed the Soweto giants to advance in the knockout competition, and they now look forward to the draw for the next round as they chase further silverware, last achieving success in the trophy department in the 2024/25 season.

Next on the Chiefs' agenda is a highly anticipated Betway Premiership Soweto Derby against their arch-rivals, Orlando Pirates, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at FNB Stadium.
