Pedri: "I Won't Change Barça for Anything"

Pedri recently shared his thoughts in an interview with Manoj Daswani for Televisión Canaria. He reaffirmed his commitment to FC Barcelona, stating, "I won't change Barça for anything."

Having completed another outstanding season, Pedri stated that he participated in 43 matches, scoring two goals and providing twelve assists. With the World Cup on the horizon, he expressed excitement and high expectations ahead of joining La Roja for the tournament.

Throughout the interview, Pedri reflected on his daily routines and ambitions. He explained how encouraged he feels when fans in other stadiums applaud him, a gesture that offers him personal comfort.

Notably, he mentioned the flattering remarks from Toni Kroos, saying, "To hear that from someone with a spectacular career fills me with motivation to keep improving." Pedri also recalled his competitive spirit, particularly during the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, where he felt disappointment for not winning gold, underlining that he always aims for the highest titles.

When discussing interest from other clubs, Pedri confirmed that his heart is set on Barça. He remarked, "In my heart, I was thinking that Barça is where I wanted to stay. He fondly reminisced that his grandfather founded a Barcelona fan club, where he would watch matches as a child, underscoring the dream-come-true aspect of his current reality.
