Djibril Ouattara Scores Twice, APR FC Advances in CAF Champions League

The APR FC of Rwanda qualified for the next round of the CAF Champions League by defeating the Aigles du Congo 3-0 on Friday during the return leg of the preliminary first round. After losing the first leg 1-0, the Rwandan club turned the situation around, partly thanks to its Burkinabè captain, Cheick Djibril Ouattara, who scored a brace in the match. The three Burkinabè players in the APR FC, Cheick Djibril Ouattara, Madou Zon, and Memel Raouf Dao, were all starters. This qualification was achieved with style, allowing APR FC to continue their African journey.
