Ismaël Saibari: Bayern Reveals Moroccan's Expected Absence Duration

Ismaël Saibari will not play for Bayern Munich this year. Sports director Max Eberl provided updates on the Moroccan's injury during a media briefing in Germany. Saibari sustained an ankle injury last weekend during the match against Borussia Dortmund and has already undergone surgery at the hospital. "He will not return for some time," Eberl stated. "The operation went well yesterday. Today (Monday), he was already back at our table for lunch. I was totally surprised and asked him if it would be in two or three weeks. He laughed a bit and said: 'Two and a half weeks,'" Eberl told Sky. "That will probably not be the case. We expect him to be unavailable for three to four months due to a torn ligament in his ankle."
