Chelsea Pursues Premier League Manager Amid Rebuilding

Chelsea is reportedly in search of a new manager following the recent sacking of Liam Rosenior. The club's hierarchy is considering candidates who are aligned with the club's long-term vision. Andoni Iraola, the current Bournemouth boss, has emerged as a key target, especially as his team sits above Chelsea in the Premier League table.

Iraola, a 43-year-old Spaniard, is expected to leave Bournemouth at the end of the current season, and Chelsea's interest could lead to competition from Crystal Palace, which is also looking for a managerial replacement. Palace has reportedly engaged with Iraola's camp as they prepare for the anticipated departure of Oliver Glasner this summer.

In addition to Iraola, Chelsea is also evaluating other candidates including Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, and former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso, who had a brief spell as head coach at Real Madrid before being dismissed. Both Silva and Alonso bring experience in English football, which is a consideration for Chelsea.
