Olise Wins Award For Best French Player Abroad

Michael Olise won the award for best French player playing abroad after an impressive season with Bayern Munich. He was acknowledged ahead of notable competitors such as Rayan Cherki from Manchester City, Hugo Ekitike from Liverpool, Kylian Mbappé from Real Madrid, and William Saliba from Arsenal.

During his full season in Germany, Olise established himself as one of the most impactful players in the Bavarian lineup. He received recognition as the best passer in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League, contributing a total of 22 goals and 28 assists to his team's successes.

After receiving the award, Olise expressed his gratitude, stating to French Football Weekly, "I am very grateful, I wanted to thank everyone at Bayern Munich. I can’t wait to give my all at the World Cup this summer, with the France team."

He played a crucial role in helping France reach the final of the football competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where they were edged out by Spain. Olise is expected to be a part of the French squad competing in this year’s FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
