Cricket quiz: Guess The Hundred star No 3

A special cricket edition of the quiz, "Who am I?" was published by BBC Sport. For each day of The Hundred tournament, participants aimed to identify a cricketer taking part in the event with as few attempts as possible. As players made wrong guesses, they unlocked additional clues to help them in their identification process. The scoring system rewarded quicker guesses, with three points deemed a good score and four or five points considered exceptional. Joe Rindl from BBC Sport set the clues for today’s player. Participants were encouraged to take part and return for more the next day. Today’s player involved clues specifically curated for the quiz. For those interested in additional quizzes, BBC Sport provided a dedicated Sports Quizzes page where users could sign up for notifications to receive the latest quizzes directly to their devices.

The Hundred is set to run from July 21 to August 16, 2026, where viewers can enjoy 16 games including both matches on the opening day and both finals. The games will be broadcasted on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer, with ball-by-ball commentary available on BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website, and apps.

Readers were invited to explore previous quizzes related to cricket, along with recent changes made for the Hundred in 2026. Further football quizzes were also featured since July 1. An array of sports-related highlights and stories accompanied the quiz offerings, underscoring an active engagement with various sports.
