Chelsea Parts Ways with Rosenior After Disappointing Streak

Chelsea FC has officially parted ways with head coach Liam Rosenior after just 107 days at the helm, a decision announced on Wednesday following a disappointing run of results. The club expressed gratitude towards Rosenior and his staff for their efforts but stated that recent performances did not meet the club's expectations.

In a statement, Chelsea emphasized that this decision was not made lightly, noting that the results had "fallen below the necessary standards." Assistant coach Calum McFarlane has been appointed as interim head coach until the end of the season, as Chelsea aims to secure a European spot and advance in the FA Cup.

Rosenior's tenure began with promise, winning 11 of his first 23 matches and minimizing early defeats. However, the situation quickly deteriorated after a significant 5-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, where Chelsea had been level late in the game before conceding three late goals.
