DraftKings Offers $5 Million in Bonus Bets for Season Opener
Newsroom

DraftKings announced a $5 million bonus bet opportunity for the New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks season opener. The promotion, dubbed the "King of the Endzone," allows eligible customers to win a share of the $5 million by betting on the player who scores the longest touchdown during the game.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is coming off a breakout season, is expected to draw significant attention as a dynamic receiver for the Seahawks. Meanwhile, the Patriots have added A.J. Brown to their roster alongside Rhamondre Stevenson, who are both likely candidates to score in this highly anticipated match-up.
To qualify for the bonus bets, participants must opt in and place their qualifying wager before the token expires at 8:20 PM ET on September 9. Each customer can receive one single-use Qualifying Bet Token, which can be applied to any prematch NFL Touchdown Scorer prop for the game between NE and SEA (including First TD Scorer, Anytime TD Scorer, and 2+ TDs) with a minimum bet of $5.
It is important to note that passing touchdowns do not count towards the promotion—only the player scoring the longest touchdown will qualify for winnings. In cases where the longest touchdown is scored by a player who is also part of a team’s Defense/Special Teams (D/ST), customers betting on either the player or the D/ST will receive payouts.
Additionally, new users signing up at DraftKings can claim a promotion by depositing a minimum of $5 and placing a cash bet of $5 or more. Regardless of the wager's outcome, new customers will instantly receive $200 in bonus bets.
The special betting opportunity showcases DraftKings’ efforts to engage fans with enticing promotions as the NFL season kicks off with this match-up.
