Relebohile Mofokeng scored just 17 minutes into his UEFA Europa League debut, continuing his brilliant start to life at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. The Belgian Jupiler Pro League side faced Viktoria Plzen away from home on Thursday evening, with Mofokeng starting back-to-back games for the first time.
The 21-year-old didn't waste any time and scored his side's opener with a superb finish after being set up by a long pass from the back. Mateo Biondic made it 2-0 before the break, while defender Ondrej Kricfalusi netted USG's third in the 59th minute.
Mofokeng's overall display impressed, as he received an 8.0 rating from Sofascore and continued to impress in Europe. He was substituted after 63 minutes, as his side eased to their first away win in the Europa League league phase. The former Orlando Pirates winger has now scored four goals in eight games for USG, proving his worth for his new club.
