Chiefs Defender Reeve Frosler Talks Bafana Bafana

Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler admitted that the club’s senior players should take inspiration from the young talents representing South Africa at U20 and U23 levels. Frosler emphasized the need for himself and his teammates to strive for a place in the Bafana Bafana setup.
Frosler noted the strong representation of Chiefs in South Africa’s junior national teams, a contrast to the senior side, where Amakhosi players have appeared less frequently. When asked about the disparity, he shifted the focus to the senior team.
“I think that’s for us senior team players to look at them and say, if our junior teams are able to do it,” Frosler stated. “We can learn something from our junior teams, and we have to try to do better and get into the national team ourselves.”
The Chiefs right-back highlighted that the success of the club’s youngsters should be celebrated rather than envied, showcasing a positive reflection of the club's future. “It’s positive for us, seeing these young talents coming through, and hopefully they can continue growing and hopefully take over in the first team as well,” he added.
Frosler’s remarks indicate a constructive attitude within the Chiefs camp: the achievements of the youngsters serve as a standard for the senior players, creating a pathway for integration into the first team and eventually into Bafana Bafana.
With a club that has long prided itself on nurturing talent, Frosler’s message is clear. The next generation is approaching, and those in the senior ranks must elevate their own performances to maintain their positions.
