England to Tour Bangladesh in Winter 2027
Newsroom

England will head to Bangladesh for a two-Test series in February 2027. While the dates are yet to be officially announced, the International Cricket Council's Future Tours Programme states the fixtures will take place across the final three weeks of February. Prior to the two Tests, England are expected to play a three-day warm-up game.
England will also travel to Australia for a one-off Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This game, which takes place between Thursday, 11 and Monday, 15 March, 2027, marks the 150-year anniversary of Test cricket.
February will be the first time in which England will play an away Test match against Bangladesh since the two teams faced each other in a two-Test series in October 2016. Bangladesh won their last home Test against England, while England won all of the other nine away Tests between the two nations.
England have seven Test matches scheduled prior to the 2027 Ashes series on home soil, which starts in June 2027. They will travel to South Africa for three Test matches across December and January before the fixtures with Bangladesh and Australia. The final Test match before the Ashes will be a one-off match against Bangladesh at Lord's, starting on Friday, 28 May, 2027.
