Mabasa's Matchwinner Moves MAS Fès to the Top

South African striker Tshegofatso Mabasa netted his second goal of the season for Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès (MAS Fès) in their narrow 2-1 win over Hassania Agadir in the Moroccan Botola Pro League on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Mabasa, nicknamed 'Sniper', found the back of the net for the second consecutive game, helping MAS Fès secure six points from their first two league matches of the season, placing them equal on points with second-placed Union Touarga.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 26th minute when fellow South African Devin Titus, who provided the assist, set up Anas El Mahraoui. MAS Fès doubled their lead in the 39th minute when Mabasa converted a penalty, marking another impactful performance.

Despite Hassania Agadir pulling one back with a penalty scored by Imad Riahi in the 56th minute, they could not find an equalizer. The MAS Fès defense held firm, securing the crucial win away from home.
