Auction for Tadej Pogačar's Colnago and Brandon McNulty's Jersey

The USA Cycling Foundation's fifth annual auction opened on November 4, featuring unique items from top cycling stars, including Tadej Pogačar's race-ridden Colnago and signed jerseys from Brandon McNulty. The auction aimed to raise funds for US Olympic and Paralympic cyclists as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Importantly, U.S. Olympic athletes do not receive government funding, making this fundraising effort crucial.

The auction runs through November 9, with 99 total items available to bidders worldwide. A highlight of the auction is Tadej Pogačar's Colnago V5Rs, a world champion edition bicycle he used to win the 2025 Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Donated by Colnago, it is valued at $80,000 and will start bidding at $25,000. Last year's auction of a bike belonging to Pogačar saw it fetch an astounding $190,500.

Other memorabilia up for bid includes signed rainbow jerseys from Brandon McNulty and Ashlin Barry, Tejay Van Garderen's white jersey from the 2012 Tour de France, and more items from Demi Vollering, Enric Mas, and Kate Courtney. Courtney contributed the bike and jersey she used to claim victory at the US National Championships earlier this year, valued at $13,900 and already open to bids.

Unique experiences, such as rides with professionals Keegan Swenson, Christopher Blevins, and Alexey Vermeulen, are also available. Additional auction items include various bikes, kits, helmets, gift cards, and guaranteed entries to major US gravel events, along with access to the Étape du Tour in 2027.

The auction even features non-cycling items such as sports and concert tickets, vacation getaways, and dining experiences, with starting bids as low as one dollar. Organizers hope to raise a substantial amount for US cyclists. Molly Pickall, executive director of the USA Cycling Foundation, emphasized the impact of private support on athletes’ success, highlighting the outstanding performance of American women cyclists at the Tokyo Olympics. As LA28 marks the first Summer Games on home soil since 1996, the foundation hopes this auction will play a significant role in building the strongest team possible.
