Eguavoen and CAF Instructors Clash Over Course Management

Eguavoen, CAF instructors at war over courses
Austin Eguavoen, the Nigerian CAF instructors, faced significant backlash over his approach in conducting a series of CAF D courses throughout Nigeria. The 29 CAF instructors in Nigeria expressed their discontent, claiming that Eguavoen operated in an "unprofessional manner". They indicated that they had been excluded from participation in these courses that Eguavoen has been holding in states such as Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Ogun, and Osun, alongside only Terry Eguaoje and one individual without certification for such duties.
One instructor accused Eguavoen, stating, "What Eguavoen is doing is very unprofessional. He has made the rest of us redundant even though we all are qualified to be part of these courses." Another instructor chimed in, saying, "These courses could be done across the country at the same time with some of us also being part of them."
The ongoing tension between Eguavoen and the instructors prompted intervention from NIS DG Philip Shuaibu. This situation arose concurrently with Eguavoen’s effort to extend his tenure as NFF technical director, following the end of his contract.
