Newsroom

In a Thursday night matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Baltimore Ravens 33-10, marking the Ravens' fourth consecutive loss. Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a touchdown, while Ravens rookie Joe Fagnano, making his first career start in place of injured quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, managed just 60 passing yards.
The Ravens, now with a record of 4-5, have seen their season slump as they await the arrival of Jacoby Brissett to bolster their struggling quarterback situation. Jacksonville improved to 6-2, winning five of their last six games, and took control of the AFC South with a commanding three-and-a-half-game lead.
The Jaguars scored first, driving 77 yards and reaching the end zone on a one-yard touchdown run by Bhayshul Tuten. Although the Ravens attempted to innovate with Wildcat-style plays by utilizing Derrick Henry, they could only manage a field goal on their opening drive. The game remained competitive near the end of the first half, but Lawrence connected with Parker Washington for a 50-yard touchdown pass just before halftime, increasing the lead to 17-3.
In the third quarter, despite Baltimore's hopes for a comeback, they turned the ball over on downs after recovering a fumble, prompting boos from their home crowd. Fagnano completed 10 of 18 passes but suffered two interceptions in the second half. A costly fumble on a kick return allowed Jaguars running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. to score a touchdown, extending Jacksonville's lead to 33-3 with less than eight minutes left in the game.
Justice Hill managed to break through for a 65-yard touchdown run just 11 seconds later, marking Baltimore’s first touchdown since Week 5 after halftime. He ended the game with 85 yards on nine carries, ending Jacksonville’s streak of 24 games without allowing a rusher over 75 yards.
