LIVE STREAM: Billam-Smith vs Clarke ceremonial weigh-in

Chris Billam-Smith fought Cheavon Clarke in the headline event of Zuffa Boxing 12 at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday. The event also included Denzel Bentley meeting Shane Mosley Jr, as well as Da'Mazion Vanhouter and Sam Hickey in action. Viewers were able to watch the ceremonial weigh-ins live on Sky Sports before the fights.

Both Billam-Smith and Clarke came off victories in thrilling bouts prior to their meeting. Billam-Smith triumphed in a bruising battle against Ryan Rozicki in June, while Clarke managed to rise from the canvas twice to secure a victory over Jack Massey on the same card. Clarke, who won the British title in just nine fights, aimed to elevate his career further. Meanwhile, Billam-Smith, a former world champion, sought to reclaim his position at the top of the division.

The contest held personal significance for Billam-Smith, as Clarke had handed him a painful defeat in the amateur final of the 2016 national elite championships, which added a layer of motivation for this rematch.

On the undercard, Denzel Bentley faced Shane Mosley Jr, the son of boxing legend Shane Mosley, in a much-anticipated middleweight clash. American heavyweight Da'Mazion Vanhouter took on Ivan Balaz, following an impressive performance where he had demolished Raphael Akpejiori in the first round during the Garcia vs Benn card in September.

Scottish middleweight talent Sam Hickey was set to face Amaury Massenaux, and Kayla Allen prepared for her second professional fight against Julia Igel. Rising cruiserweight Lucas Roehrig was scheduled to fight Connal McDonald, the Scottish champion, in an eight-rounder.

Streaming preliminary bouts featured British light-heavyweight contender Zach Parker against unbeaten puncher Umar Dzambekov, Masood Abdulah taking on the 14-1 American contender Adan Palma, and Vinnie "King of Violence" Kemp making his professional debut.

Viewers were invited to watch Billam-Smith vs Clarke on Saturday, November 7, live on Sky Sports, with tickets for ZUFFA BOXING 12 available via Ticketmaster.
