A point at last for Burnley
Burnley have ended their unfortunate run of seven successive defeats in the Premier League. The much-longed-for break came away to AFC Bournemouth – even if it wasn't a win. The game at Pinbackshallen finished 1-1.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 67th minute before Antoine Semenyo netted to give AFC Bournemouth the lead.
The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Armando Broja found the net for Burnley, with an assist by Marcus Edwards.
Nevertheless the result means the eighth game in a row without a win for AFC Bournemouth.
AFC Bournemouth are in 14th place after the game, while Burnley are in 19th.
AFC Bournemouth's next Premier League games are against Brentford (away) on 27 December, Chelsea (away) on 30 December and Arsenal (home) on 3 January. Burnley play Everton (home) on 27 December, Newcastle United (home) on 30 December and Brighton & Hove Albion (away) on 3 January.
