AFC Bournemouth's unbeaten run extended after 1-1 to Sunderland

AFC Bournemouth enjoyed a great game in the Premier League and their eighth game in a row without defeat came at home to Sunderland. The game finished 1-1.

Sunderland scored the first goal when Eliezer Mayenda netted in the 18th minute, making it 1-0.

With 63 minutes on the clock, AFC Bournemouth's Evanilson found the net following a Marcus Tavernier assist to equalise.

The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Sunderland.

The result means AFC Bournemouth are now in ninth place in the table and that Sunderland are 11th in the league.

"A good point after a long run of defeats. We know how hard this league is, relentless, demanding and when you start to lose it's hard to break this dynamic," Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris said.

The next Premier League games for AFC Bournemouth are Brentford (home) on 3 March, Burnley (away) on 14 March and Manchester United (home) on 20 March. Sunderland play Leeds United (away) on 3 March, Brighton & Hove Albion (home) on 14 March and Newcastle United (away) on 22 March.
