Arsenal strengthen title grip with another win

League leaders Arsenal continue to impress. With a 2-0 win at home against Brentford, Arsenal recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Manchester City is now five points. Brentford are in 13th place in the league.

Arsenal play Aston Villa on 6 December, Wolverhampton Wanderers on 13 December and Everton (away) on 20 December. Brentford's next opponents are Tottenham Hotspur on 6 December, Leeds United on 14 December and Wolverhampton Wanderers (away) on 20 December.

The 2-0 goal came in extra time, when Bukayo Saka found the net for Arsenal, with an assist by Mikel Merino.

Arsenal took an early lead when Mikel Merino netted after 11 minutes, with an assist by Ben White, making it 1-0.

The result saw Arsenal's 11th game in a row without defeat.
