Arsenal strengthen title grip with another win
The first goal was scored right at the death with one minutes left to play, when Viktor Gyökeres netted, with an assist by Piero Hincapié, to make it 1–0 for Arsenal.
The 2-0 goal came in extra time, when Max Dowman found the net for Arsenal, with an assist by Gabriel Martinelli.
Arsenal have now won four games in a row.
It was Arsenal's eighth game in a row without defeat.
Arsenal's next Premier League games are against AFC Bournemouth (home) on 11 April, Manchester City (away) on 19 April and Newcastle United (home) on 25 April. Everton play Chelsea (home) on 21 March, Brentford (away) on 11 April and Liverpool (home) on 19 April.
League leaders Arsenal continue to impress. With a 2-0 win at home against Everton, Arsenal recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Manchester City is now nine points. However, Manchester City have one game in hand. Everton are in eighth place in the league.
