Chelsea won after João Pedro's hat-trick

João Pedro scored three goal as the team beat Aston Villa 4-1 away in the Premier League. Cole Palmer also scored a goal for the winners, and goal scorer Soares de Paulo scored for Aston Villa.

Aston Villa were quickest out of the blocks, and went 1-0 up when Douglas Luiz netted in the second minute on a pass from Leon Bailey.

Chelsea took the lead just before the half-time whistle as João Pedro scored yet again. This time he scored, with an assist by Enzo Fernández.

In the 55th minute, Cole Palmer increased the lead for Chelsea, with an assist by João Pedro.

Chelsea equalised to make it 1-1, as João Pedro found the net, with an assist by Malo Gusto, in the 35th minute.

With 64 minutes on the clock, Chelsea's João Pedro found the net following a Alejandro Garnacho assist to increase their lead and then completed a hatrick.

It leaves Chelsea in fifth place and that Aston Villa are in fourth place.

Aston Villa play Manchester United on 15 March, West Ham United on 22 March and Nottingham Forest (away) on 11 April. Chelsea's next opponents are Newcastle United on 14 March, Everton on 21 March and Manchester City (home) on 11 April.
