Brentford Claims Three Points Against Burnley with Damsgaard's Double

Brentford asserted their dominance with a 4-3 victory over Burnley in Saturday's Premier League action at Turf Moor.

Burnley pulled one back again in the 47th minute of the game as Jaidon Anthony scored, with an assist by Hannibal.

Brentford started the match well and took the lead when Mikkel Damsgaard netted after 9 minutes, with an assist by Dango Ouattara, making it 1-0.

In the 25th minute Igor Thiago increased the lead for Brentford with an assist by Mikkel Damsgaard.

Kevin Schade made it 3-0 in the 34th minute as he found the net.

1-3 came through an own-goal in the 45th minute.

With 60 minutes on the clock, Burnley's Zian Flemming found the net following a Hannibal assist to equalise.

The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Mikkel Damsgaard scored for Brentford, with an assist by Rico Henry.

The result brings no change for the teams in terms of league position: Burnley in 19th place and Brentford in seventh.

Burnley play Everton on 3 March, AFC Bournemouth on 14 March and Fulham (away) on 21 March. Brentford's next opponents are AFC Bournemouth on 3 March, Wolverhampton Wanderers on 16 March and Leeds United (away) on 21 March.
