Burnley's Struggles Persist as Fulham Clash Ends in Loss
Burnley failed to win at home against Fulham. The game finished 3-2 and that was Burnleys seventh consecutive game without a win in the Premier League.
Burnley equalised to make it 1-1, as Lesley Ugochukwu found the net, with an assist by Josh Cullen , in the 21st minute.
Fulham started the match best and took the lead early when Emile Smith Rowe netted in the 9th minute, with an assist by Harry Wilson, making it 1-0.
Fulham took the lead after more than half an hour's play as Calvin Bassey scored, with an assist by Harry Wilson.
Burnley's next Premier League games are against AFC Bournemouth (away) on 20 December, Burnley (home) on 27 December and Newcastle United (home) on 30 December. Fulham play Nottingham Forest (home) on 22 December, West Ham United (away) on 27 December and Crystal Palace (away) on 1 January.
The goal that reduced the score to 3-2 came in the final minutes, when Oliver Sonne scored for Burnley.
With 58 minutes on the clock, Fulham's Harry Wilson found the net following a Samuel Chukwueze assist to double their lead.
Fulham are now in 13th place, while Burnley are in 19th place.
