Burnley Overwhelmed as Newcastle United Claims Commanding Win at Turf Moor

It was Burnley's 10th game in a row without a win.

Tuesday's Premier League fixture at away saw Newcastle United claim a vital win over Burnley. Initially leading 2-1, Newcastle United showcased their resilience and determination, to clinch a memorable 3-1 victory.

Newcastle United silenced Burnley when Joelinton  netted in the second minute.

In the 7th minute Yoane Wissa increased the lead for Newcastle United.

Burnley's Josh Laurent made it 2-1 in the 23rd minute as he found the net, with an assist by Armando Broja.

The 3-1 goal came in stoppage time, when Bruno Guimarães scored for Newcastle United.

Newcastle United are now in ninth place, while Burnley are in 19th place.

Burnley play Brighton & Hove Albion on 3 January, Manchester United on 7 January and Liverpool (away) on 17 January. Newcastle United's next opponents are Crystal Palace on 4 January, Leeds United on 7 January and Wolverhampton Wanderers (away) on 18 January.
