Brighton & Hove Albion Claims Hard-Fought Victory in Back-and-Forth Battle Against Chelsea
In the beginning of the game, Chelsea led with 0-1, but Brighton & Hove Albion surged back to win. The final score after the Premier League game was 3-1.
Chelsea took an early lead when Enzo Fernández netted after 24 minutes, making it 1-0.
Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah was sent off in the 53rd minute.
"Chelsea dominated us until the goal and then everything changed. We were better in possession, then played with much more courage. The red card always helps but it doesn’t always mean there is an advantage on the pitch," Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler said.
"Sometimes it can get even harder to create something but my players remained patient," he added.
Danny Welbeck equalised for Brighton & Hove Albion with an assist by Yankuba Minteh, in the 77th minute.

The 2-1 goal to take the lead came in extra time, when Danny Welbeck found the net for Brighton & Hove Albion, with an assist by Brajan Gruda.
The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Maxim De Cuyper scored for Brighton & Hove Albion, with an assist by Mats Wieffer, to complete Brighton & Hove Albion's come back.
For Chelsea, this means eighth place in the table, while Brighton & Hove Albion are 10th in the league.
