Gyökeres scores as Arsenal sink Everton

The first-half goal from Gyökeres was to be the only goal of the game when Arsenal won 1-0 away to Everton in the Premier League.

The match was even in terms of goals until Arsenal took the lead in the 27th minute through Viktor Gyökeres.

It leaves Everton in 10th place and that Arsenal are at the top of the table.

Everton play Burnley on 27 December, Nottingham Forest on 30 December and Brentford (home) on 4 January. Arsenal's next opponents are Brighton & Hove Albion on 27 December, Aston Villa on 30 December and AFC Bournemouth (away) on 3 January.
