Igor Thiago scores three in Brentford's win over Everton

Igor Thiago struck a hat-trick as Brentford beat Everton 4-2 away in the Premier League. Nathan Collins  also scored a goal for the winners, while Everton's goal came through Barry and Bercique Gomes Betuncal.

Brentford started the match best and took the lead when Igor Thiago netted after 11 minutes, with an assist by Vitaly Janelt, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Nathan Collins  scored and increased the team's lead.

Just a minute later, Igor Thiago increased the lead for Brentford, with an assist by Kevin Schade.

Everton play Wolverhampton Wanderers on 7 January, Aston Villa on 18 January and Leeds United (home) on 26 January. Brentford's next opponents are Sunderland on 7 January, Chelsea on 17 January and Nottingham Forest (home) on 25 January.

For Everton, this means 12th place in the table, while Brentford are seventh in the league.
