Tottenham Hotspur secure much-longed-for win

Tottenham Hotspur have gone through a tough spell in the Premier League with a run of five successive defeats. But after the 1-1 win at AXA Sports Center against Liverpool, things are looking brighter for Tottenham Hotspur with at least a much longed-for point.

Liverpool took an early lead when Dominik Szoboszlai netted after 18 minutes, making it 1-0.

Liverpool are now in fifth place, while Tottenham Hotspur are in 16th place.

The equaliser came in extra time, when Richarlison  found the net for Tottenham Hotspur, with an assist by Randal Kolo Muani.

The game was nevertheless the 12th in a row without a win for Tottenham Hotspur.

The next Premier League games for Liverpool are Brighton & Hove Albion (away) on 21 March, Liverpool (home) on 11 April and Everton (away) on 19 April. Tottenham Hotspur play Nottingham Forest (home) on 22 March, Sunderland (away) on 12 April and Brighton & Hove Albion (home) on 18 April.
