Liverpool took the lead just before half time when Ryan Gravenberch netted, with an assist by Jeremie Frimpong.
Just a minute later Florian Wirtz increased the lead for Liverpool with an assist by Hugo Ekitiké.
The result saw Liverpool's sixth game in a row without defeat.
Liverpool are now in fourth place, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are in 20th and last place.
