Manchester City claimed an important win at home to the league leader Arsenal in the Premier League Sunday, finishing 2-1.
The standings remain unchanged with Manchester City in second place and Arsenal on top.
Manchester City took an early lead when Rayan Cherki netted in the 16th minute, with an assist by Matheus Nunes, making it 1-0.
Arsenal equalised to make it 1-1, when Kai Havertz found the net, just two minutes later later.
"But the reality is just one thing: they are top of the league. One ahead on goal difference. We have to enjoy it, celebrate it, take the good things. But don't lose the focus. In three days we go to Burnley," City's Pep Guardiola said.
