Double Trouble: Foden's Goals Secure Manchester City's Win Over Leeds United
Manchester City stunned Leeds United when Phil Foden netted in the first minute, with an assist from Matheus Nunes.
Straight after the break, Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored and reduced the score for Leeds United.
The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Phil Foden found the net for Manchester City, with an assist by Rayan Cherki.
In the 25th minute Josko Gvardiol increased the lead for Manchester City with an assist by Nico O'Reilly.
"It was a relief to score in the last minutes and the other feeling is big character," Guardiola said following the win. "The game was not perfect in the first half, but it was comfortable; it should be over at half-time with the chances we had," he added.
Lukas Nmecha also equalised for Leeds United in the 68th minute.
Manchester City play Fulham on 2 December, Sunderland on 6 December and Crystal Palace (away) on 14 December. Leeds United's next opponents are Chelsea on 3 December, Liverpool on 6 December and Brentford (away) on 14 December.
Manchester City are now in second place, while Leeds United are in 18th place. Manchester City are 4 points behind Arsenal.
Leeds United's losing streak now tallies four in a row.
