Manchester United Held Scoreless as Manchester City Secures Victory

A stellar showing by Manchester City saw them score three goals and shut out Manchester United in the Premier League clash at Etihad Stadium. The home team secured a dominant 3-0 win to claim victory.

Manchester City scored the first goal when Phil Foden netted after 18 minutes, with an assist by Jérémy Doku, making it 1-0.

Straight after the break, Erling Haaland made his mark and increased the team's lead.

Manchester City further increased the lead as Erling Haaland found the net, with an assist by Bernardo Silva , in the 68th minute.

For Manchester City, this means eighth place in the table, while Manchester United are in 14th place.

"We are building things and trying to fight against these teams again," Ruben Amorim told Sky Sports. "I am not going to defend myself, it is always the same question. We need to do better. If I look to the game, last year we drew and then won against City, today we were a little bit better in certain things. In small details, clearly it was not good enough," he added.
