The Premier League battle between Manchester United and Chelsea concluded with Manchester United claiming a hard-fought 2-1 victory. Initially establishing a 2-0 lead, Manchester United encountered a spirited resurgence from Chelsea in the latter stages, yet held on to secure the win.

Chelsea were left with a man down early on, when Robert Sánchez was sent off in the 5th minute.
In the 37th minute Casemiro increased the lead for Manchester United with an assist by Harry Maguire.

Manchester United started the match best and took the lead early when Bruno Fernandes netted after 14 minutes, with an assist by Patrick Dorgu, making it 1-0.
Manchester United's Casemiro was sent off in the 45th minute.
"Every three points is massive in this moment because we haven't started the season as we wanted. But we go game by game. Today was massive and the next one will be massive too," Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes said.
Trevoh Chalobah reduced the score for Chelsea with an assist by Reece James , in the 80th minute.
