Duel Ends in a Point Apiece for Newcastle United and Chelsea!

Newcastle United and Chelsea collided in a Premier League fixture that lived up to the hype, producing a 2-2 draw.

Newcastle United were quickest out of the blocks, and went 1-0 up when Nick Woltemade netted in the fourth minute.

In the 20th minute Nick Woltemade increased the lead for Newcastle United with an assist by Anthony Gordon.

Straight after the break, Reece James found the net and reduced the score for Chelsea.

João Pedro also equalised for Chelsea in the 66th minute, with an assist by Robert Sánchez.

Newcastle United are now in 11th place, while Chelsea are in fourth place.

Newcastle United play Manchester United on 26 December, Burnley on 30 December and Crystal Palace (home) on 4 January. Chelsea's next opponents are Aston Villa on 27 December, AFC Bournemouth on 30 December and Manchester City (away) on 4 January.
