The first half finished 0-0, and it took until the 71st minute before Bruno Guimarães gave Newcastle United the lead as he netted, with an assist by Nick Woltemade.
Cristian Romero equalised for Tottenham Hotspur with an assist by Mohammed Kudus, in the 78th minute.
The 2-1 goal to take the lead came in the final minutes, when Anthony Gordon found the net for Newcastle United.
But Tottenham Hotspur still had time to score an equaliser. Cristian Romero scored in the 90th minute.
It was Tottenham Hotspur's fifth game in a row without a win.
