1-0 win for Liverpool over Nottingham Forest – Mac Allister was the hero
A goal was scored right at the death in the 90th minute when Alexis Mac Allister netted to make it 1–0 for Liverpool.
The result means the fourth game in a row without a win for Nottingham Forest.
"If you score in the last minute, there's always an element of luck. But so many times this season, we've experienced the opposite. I don't mean conceding in the last minute - that's happened as well - but it's about us deserving more than what we got. A draw would have been a fairer result than a win for us," Liverpool's Arne Slot said.
Liverpool won 1-0 away to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Mac Allister scored the only goal of the game in the second half.
It leaves Nottingham Forest in 17th place and Liverpool in sixth.
Nottingham Forest's next Premier League games are against Brighton & Hove Albion (away) on 1 March, Manchester City (away) on 4 March and Fulham (home) on 15 March. Liverpool play West Ham United (home) on 28 February, Wolverhampton Wanderers (away) on 3 March and Tottenham Hotspur (home) on 15 March.
