Jiménez Rodríguez Stars as Fulham Secures Impressive Victory Against Sunderland
Sunday's Premier League encounter saw Fulham claim a comprehensive 3-1 win over Sunderland at Stadium of Light.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 54th minute before Raúl Jiménez netted, with an assist by Alex Iwobi, to give Fulham the lead.
The result means Sunderland are now in 12th place in the table and that Fulham are 10th in the league.
In the 61st minute, Raúl Jiménez increased the lead for Fulham.
Enzo Le Fée reduced the score for Sunderland in the 76th minute.
With five minutes left to play, Fulham's Alex Iwobi increased the lead, with an assist by Harry Wilson.
"A big win. We knew it was going to be another crucial game for us. It's very important because we came from some not good results," Fulham Marco Silva said following the win.
Sunderland's next Premier League games are against AFC Bournemouth (away) on 28 February, Leeds United (away) on 3 March and Brighton & Hove Albion (home) on 14 March. Fulham play Tottenham Hotspur (home) on 1 March, West Ham United (home) on 4 March and Nottingham Forest (away) on 15 March.
