Sunderland's Brobbey Ensures Share of Spoils in Draw with Tottenham Hotspur

Brian Brobbey equalised for Sunderland with an assist by Enzo Le Fée, in the 80th minute.

It was Sunderland's fourth game in a row without a win.

Tottenham Hotspur led 1-0 at half-time against Sunderland in their Premier League home encounter, courtesy of Ben Davies 's goal. However, Sunderland mounted a comeback in the second half, with Brian Brobbey scoring the equalizer. The game concluded with a 1-1 draw.

The matchup remained goalless until the 30th minute when Ben Davies  put Tottenham Hotspur ahead, with an assist by Micky van de Ven.

Tottenham Hotspur play AFC Bournemouth on 7 January, West Ham United on 17 January and Burnley (away) on 24 January. Sunderland's next opponents are Brentford on 7 January, Crystal Palace on 17 January and West Ham United (away) on 24 January.

Sunderland are in eighth place after the game, while Tottenham Hotspur are in 13th.
