This impressive home run not only cut the deficit to 10-7 but also marked the longest home run hit by a White Sox player this season, according to Statcast. Murakami's achievement places him in elite company, joining the ranks of White Sox legends such as A.J. Pierzynski (2012), Paul Konerko (2011), Carlos Lee (2003), Frank Thomas (twice in 1994), Ron Kittle (1983), and Greg Luzinski (1983), all of whom have homered in five straight games for the franchise.
