Chelsea Parts Ways with Coach Rosenior

Chelsea Football Club has officially parted ways with head coach Liam Rosenior after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Tuesday. This marks a significant moment for the club, as they have now lost five consecutive league matches without scoring a single goal, a feat not seen since 1912. The decision to sack Rosenior comes as the club's management seeks to address the alarming decline in performance and results, which have fallen below the standards expected at a club of Chelsea's stature.

Rosenior, who joined Chelsea in January after replacing Enzo Maresca, signed a 5½-year contract with the club. Rosenior's dismissal marks the fifth managerial change since U.S. owners Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly took control of the club in 2022. The club is now tasked with finding a long-term replacement as it strives to regain stability and improve its performance on the pitch.
