World Cup 2026: 'Let's keep pushing' - Prince Kwabena Adu to teammates

Prince Kwabena Adu urged his teammates to keep pushing after the Black Stars reached the round of 32 following a successful group stage at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The team qualified for the knockout stage for the third time, finishing third in Group L with four points. Ghana achieved this by defeating Panama and drawing with England in their first two matches, which was sufficient to secure a spot in the round of 32. Despite suffering a defeat to Croatia in Philadelphia on Saturday, Ghana has set up a clash with Colombia in Kansas on Friday, July 3. "Proud of our team, our staff, our fans, our country… this qualification is for all of us! One step further, let’s keep pushing," a proud Kwabena Adu posted on Instagram. Although the Czech-based forward missed the match against Croatia, he took time to share a moment with his favorite player Ivan Perisic, exchanging jerseys after the game. Now, Kwabena Adu shifts his focus to the upcoming match in Kansas as Ghana aims for a place in the last 16 of the World Cup. Meanwhile, the team will return to Rhode Island to begin preparations for the encounter with the South Americans.
